Kicking-off SDGs e-learning courses in partnership with the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics
In line with its aim to improve access to knowledge and promote data dissemination on development and SDGs in the Arab region, the ADP is launching on 18-20 October 2016 a series of e-learning courses on SDGs, in partnership with the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics (AITRS). The objective of the e-learning program is to raise awareness and train mid-level civil servants at National Statistical Offices (NSOs) of Arab countries to enhance their knowledge of SDGs and the reporting mechanisms.
The e-learning program is based on a series of lectures and presentations by ADP experts covering health and environment topics, as well as interactive discussions. The ADP is also collaborating with Dr. Talal Hourani from UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) to deliver an e-learning session on education.
