Humanitarian and development actors acknowledge the importance of delivering coherent and coordinated strategies and interventions that address the immediate relief and evolving resilience needs of affected people both within Syria and across the region. The HRP and 3RP provide a comprehensive response strategy to address these needs, which is complemented by important thematic initiatives led by specialised UN agencies as well as the national response plans developed by governments in the region to address the myriad needs of affected populations emerging from the crisis.
