Demography
The 2010 Census of Population is considered the fourth census in the series of population censuses in Qatar. The first census was conducted in 1986, the second in 1997 and the third in 2004. The census of population is considered to be the most significant and largest statistical work ever conducted in any country as it is characterized by its coverage of all elements of the community (buildings, housing units, households, persons and establishments). It presents up-to-date data and information.
