Qatar succeeded in aligning the goals and objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with the National Development Strategy 2018-2022 in view of the importance of national development strategies in implementing the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, which is based on the economic, social and environmental sustainable development components. Through the efforts of its national institutions, Qatar has achieved many important objectives in areas that include infrastructure and transportation development, enhancing security and safety procedures, urban development and its implications on health, education, work, and culture, as well as completing many projects in energy, water and electricity sectors, environment preservation and strengthening partnerships with different sectors.
